The Sea Pines Forest Preserve Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization who is responsible for the management and oversight of the Sea Pines Forest Preserve host two fundraising events each year, Party in the Pines and The Bonfire as well as FREE educational seaonal events. Join Master Naturalists for a leisurely walk through the Forest Preserve to see, hear, and learn about some of the birds who call this amazing property their home.

The stocked fishing lakes in the Sea Pines Forest Preserve are reserved for Sea Pines property owners and their guests and guests staying inside of Sea Pines.
Fishing permits are required and can be obtained for a fee at the Sea Pines Security Office located at 175 Greenwood Drive. Minnow bait is not allowed.

You will find a range of species in the preserve’s lakes including Largemouth Bass, Crappie, Bream, and Catfish, offering opportunities for diverse fishing experiences.
Access to waterways may be had through common ground. Trespassing on private or regime property is not permitted.
No minnow bait may be used in the Forest Preserve or any other specifically designated body of fresh water within Sea Pines. In Lake Joe, the use of crickets, worms, or any other type of bait intended to catch catfish are restricted to children 14- years of age or younger and/or guardians who are directly participating with the child.
Sea Pines Property Owners may store a non-powered boat for use in the lakes of the Forest Preserve. Registration decals are required and may be obtained at Sea Pines CSA Administration Building located at 175 Greenwood Drive Hilton Head Island, SC 29928 Monday-Friday from 7:30 am-4:30 pm.
